Collage Builder
Create photo collages with customizable grid layouts, logo placement, and text overlays. Export in web or print-ready quality.
Overview
The Collage Builder helps you:
- Arrange photos in configurable grid layouts
- Start from preset templates or build your own
- Add your logo to team grids and comp cards
- Add text overlays with custom fonts and colors
- Export for web or print at up to 4x resolution
- Save projects to continue editing later
Getting Started
- Go to Collage Builder in the sidebar
- Choose a preset template or start with a blank grid
- Add photos by dragging and dropping or clicking to browse
- Customize the layout, background, and spacing
- Export when you're happy with the result
Preset Templates

Adding Photos
There are several ways to add photos to your collage:
- Drag and drop files directly onto the canvas or photo library
- Click "Add Images" to open the file picker
- Double-click a photo in the library to add it to the canvas
Supported formats: JPG, PNG, and WebP.
Once photos are in your library, you can:
- Drag a photo onto an existing cell to replace it
- Click and drag within a cell to pan and reframe the image
- Reorder by dragging between cells (when "Allow reordering" is enabled)
- Select multiple photos and add them to the canvas at once
Canvas Customization
Grid Controls
- Rows and Columns: 1–12 each
- Gap: 0–50px spacing between cells
- Corner Radius: 0–30px for rounded cell corners
- Grid mode: Uniform grid or Creative (custom cell sizes)
Aspect Ratios
Six presets are available:
- Square (1:1)
- Portrait (4:5)
- Vertical (9:16)
- Landscape (16:9)
- Classic (3:2)
- Standard (4:3)
Background Color
Choose from preset colors (white, light gray, gray, dark gray, black, brand teal) or use the color picker to set any custom color. You can save custom swatches for reuse.
Logo Placement
Add your logo to the collage grid — useful for corporate team grids and branded comp cards.
- Position presets: Top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right
- Custom positioning: Specify exact row and column
- Size options: 1×1, 2×1, 1×2, or 2×2 cells
- Rotation: Rotate in 90° increments
Text Overlays
Add text on top of your collage with full styling control:
- Fonts: 12 typefaces including Open Sans, Playfair Display, Montserrat, Lora, Raleway, Oswald, and more
- Size: 12–120px
- Color: Preset swatches or custom color picker
- Styling: Bold, italic, and underline

Export your collage in multiple formats and resolutions:

Download links expire after 24 hours.
Saving Projects
Save your collage as a .studioflows project file to continue editing later. The project file preserves everything: layout, photos, logo, text overlays, and all customization settings.
- Save: Downloads a .studioflows file to your computer
- Load: Open a previously saved project to pick up where you left off
Send to Social
If you have the Social Scheduler subscription, you can send a finished collage directly to the scheduler for posting to your connected platforms.
Other Tools
- Randomize: Shuffles photo order and auto-adjusts the grid — useful for quickly exploring different compositions
- Reset: Clears the canvas and grid while keeping photos in your library
- Name your collage: Click the title at the top to rename it
