Web Watch

Monitor where your images appear online. Upload your photos and StudioFlows scans the web for matches — helping you find unauthorized use or track where your work is shared.

Overview

Web Watch helps you:

  • Find unauthorized use of your photos online
  • Track where clients or publications share your work
  • Request credit or take action on infringements
  • Find contact information for site owners
  • Get notified when new matches are found

Adding Images to Track

Supported Formats

You can track up to 100 images at a time.

How to Add Images

You can add images two ways:

  1. Upload files: Click Add Images or drag and drop files
  2. Track by URL: Paste a direct image URL to track an image already hosted online

Go to Web Watch → Tracked Images in the sidebar to manage your tracked images. New images will be included in the next automatic scan.

Tip: Upload your most valuable or frequently-shared images. Portfolio highlights and client favorites are good candidates.

Scanning

Automatic Scans

Web Watch runs automatic scans weekly. You don't need to do anything — results will appear in your dashboard and you'll be notified of new matches.

Manual Scans

Need results faster? You get 3 manual scans per month.

  1. Go to Web Watch
  2. Click Scan Now
  3. Results typically appear within a few minutes

Understanding Results

Each match shows where your image was found, with a status you can update:

Status Meaning
New First time this match was found — needs your review
Known Previously seen and acknowledged
Authorized You've approved this usage (e.g., a client's website)
Requested Credit You've contacted the site owner to request attribution
Ignored False positive or not relevant
Dismissed Removed from active monitoring

Contact Finder

When you find unauthorized use, the Contact Finder helps you reach site owners:

  • Looks up contact information for the website where your image was found
  • 10 lookups per month
  • Returns email addresses, contact forms, and social profiles when available

Compose Email

After finding a contact, use the Compose Email feature to send a message directly from the dashboard. Templates are available for common scenarios:

  • Requesting photo credit/attribution
  • Requesting removal of unauthorized use
  • Requesting license payment

Authorized Domains

Add domains that are always authorized to use your images. Matches from these domains will automatically be marked as Authorized instead of New.

  1. Go to Web Watch → Settings
  2. Add domains under Authorized Domains
  3. Example: myclient.com, yourportfolio.com

Notifications

Get notified when new matches are found. Configure in Web Watch → Settings:

  • Discord: Notifications sent to a Discord channel via webhook
  • Email: Summary emails when new matches are found
  • Slack: Notifications sent to a Slack channel via webhook

Exporting Results

Export your scan results for record-keeping or legal purposes:

  • JSON: Structured data for further processing
  • CSV: Spreadsheet-compatible format
  • Text: Plain text summary
For legal action: Export results as evidence of unauthorized use, including URLs, dates found, and screenshots.
